Vote! June 2nd 2026 LAJDA for County Supervisor.
Sacramento County is facing a housing and homelessness crisis that affects every part of our community - but especially our most vulnerable: children and veterans.
Too many families are living one paycheck away from losing their homes. Too many students are trying to succeed in school without stable housing. And too many veterans who served our country are left without the support they deserve.
As your county Supervisor, I will take a focused, results-driven approach to housing - because stable housing means safer communities, stronger schools, and a better future for all of us.
We cannot solve homelessness with temporary fixes alone. We need coordinated, long-term solutions that prioritize those most in need.
I will:
Expand rapid rehousing programs to move families out of homelessness quickly
Increase access to emergency and transitional housing
Strengthen coordination between county services and local partners
Focus resources on prevention to stop homelessness before it starts
Housing instability is one of the biggest barriers to a child's success in school.
Students without stable housing are more likely to miss school, fall behind academically, and face long-term challenges.
I will work closely with parents connected to Elk Grove Unified School District and other districts to ensure no child falls through the cracks.
My priorities include:
Partnering with schools to identify and support housing-insecure students
Connecting families directly to county housing services
Expanding after-school and support programs for at-risk youth
Ensuring every child has a safe, stable place to learn and grow
No child in Sacramento County should be doing homework in a car, motel, or shelter.
Those who served our country deserve dignity, stability, and support.
Yet far too many veterans in our community are experiencing homelessness.
I will:
Prioritize veterans in county housing programs
Partner with local, state, and federal agencies to expand housing access
Support wraparound services, including mental health and job placement
Work toward functionally ending veteran homelessness in Sacramento County
We have a responsibility to ensure no veteran is left behind.
Our housing crisis is not just about homelessness - It's about affordability.
Teachers, school staff, healthcare workers, and first responders are increasingly priced out of the communities they serve.
I will
Support development of affordable and workforce housing
Streamline permitting to accelerate housing construction
Partner with labor and the building trades to create local jobs
Advocate for smart growth that keeps communities livable and connected
The people who serve our community should be able to live in it.
Solving our housing crisis will take collaboration across every level of government and every part of our community.
I will work with:
Local school districts and educators
Labor unions and workforce leaders
Veteran organizations and service providers
Community groups and housing advocates
Together, we can build a Sacramento County where every resident has the stability they need to succeed.
Prioritize homeless children and families
Support veterans with real housing solutions
Expand affordable housing for working people
Connect housing policy with education and community outcomes
This campaign is about building a stronger, more stable future for Sacramento County.
Together, we can make sure no child is without a home and no veteran is left behind.
